Privacy Policy

Minglivo supports Google sign-in and email/password sign-in. With Google sign-in, Google verifies your identity and provides only the basic account information required to create and secure your profile, such as your account identifier, verified email, name, profile image and preferred locale. Minglivo never receives your Google password, never stores the Google sign-in token and does not request access to Gmail, Contacts or Drive. With email/password sign-in, Minglivo stores only a modern one-way password hash (Argon2id when available); the original password cannot be viewed or recovered by Minglivo or its administrators. Email verification and password reset tokens are single-use, time-limited and stored only as cryptographic hashes.

Public information

Your username, display name, country, gender selection, profile photo, bio, chat notice, online status and selected intentions may be shown to other users. If you choose Prefer not to say, no gender label is shown on your profile. Your email address and date of birth are never public.

Messages

Messages are stored to provide the service and investigate reports. Administrators cannot freely browse conversations between ordinary users; only a reported message and the limited context needed for review are available. Conversations with profiles visibly labeled HOST are different: authorized administrators manually review and answer messages sent to those Minglivo community hosts. This is disclosed on the host profile and in the chat.

Service emails

Minglivo sends essential account emails for address verification, password resets and account security. If enabled in your Settings, Minglivo may also email you when an unread message arrives while you are offline. Message content is not included in notification emails. You can disable unread-message notifications at any time. If you start registration but do not finish your profile, an authorized administrator may manually send a limited profile-completion reminder. Delivery attempts are logged and repeated reminders are rate-limited.

Your choices

You can hide your profile from Discover, disable message notification emails or delete your account from Settings.

Public homepage preview

When the administrator enables the homepage community preview, a limited rotating selection of active, completed profiles that are visible in Discover may also be shown to visitors who are not signed in. The preview may include profile photo, display name, username, country, NEW status and a privacy-aware online indicator. Visitors must create an account before opening a full profile or contacting a member. Members can hide their profile from both Discover and this preview by turning off Show me in Discover in Settings.
